The Valley of Fire!

One of the things that my wife and I did while we were in Las Vegas was to go ATV riding in the Valley of Fire. As the name imply’s, this place was steaming hot when we got there. We rode ATV’s for about 2 hours in the middle of the desert. We went up and down sand dunes, went over really rocky terrain, and nearly got heat stroke because it had to be at least 100 degrees outside. The bottom picture is of us at one of the stops so we had someone take our picture. The top picture is me with the helmet and goggles on. I also had to wear my sunglasses since they are prescription and without them I wouldn’t be able to avoid the very expensive turtles that inhabit the area. It was quite an awesome experience but my ass hates me for doing it 🙂
